TIRANA, May 17 – Bulgaria won the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 late Saturday night in Vienna, after securing strong support from national juries across Europe. Albania, represented by Alis Kallaçi with the song “Nân”, finished in 13th place in the Grand Final.
The Eurovision 2026 final took place at the Wiener Stadthalle arena in Austria and brought together 25 competing countries. Albania performed fifth in the running order.
Alis delivered an emotional live performance of “Nân”, a song that drew attention throughout the competition for its powerful vocals and its tribute to motherhood. In recent days, the Albanian entry also ranked among the most viewed and discussed songs online.
Bulgaria topped the scoreboard after the jury vote and maintained its lead following the public televote. The result secured the country’s first Eurovision victory in recent years and sparked celebrations among the Bulgarian delegation.
Meanwhile, Albania secured another place in the Eurovision Grand Final after qualifying from the second semifinal earlier this week. The 13th-place finish marks a solid result for the Albanian delegation in a highly competitive edition of the contest.
The Grand Final aired live for Albanian viewers on RTSH 1 HD, RTSH Muzikë and Radio Tirana.
