Rama on Official Visit to South Korea

Prime Minister Edi Rama is on an official visit to the Republic of South Korea (May 17–21). His wife, Linda Rama, and an official delegation accompany him.

The visit aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. It also seeks to expand partnership in development, technology, and innovation.

Rama arrives in Seoul. He attends a welcome dinner hosted by the Asian Leadership Center and the Harvard Club of Korea. The event brings together political, government, and business leaders.

He also meets senior officials and business leaders. He holds talks with South Korea’s Prime Minister Kim Min-seok. He also meets Samsung CEO Lee Jae-yong.

Rama delivers a speech at the Asian Leadership Conference opening ceremony. He speaks alongside international leaders. He joins a panel discussion on global transformation and leadership.

He highlights challenges facing small states. He also discusses innovation, digital governance, and artificial intelligence.

In addition, the agenda includes meetings with major Korean companies. The focus is on investment opportunities in Albania.

Finally, Rama takes part in a regional dialogue with Asia-Pacific leaders.
