Albanian Film “Shoku ynë Tili” Set for Restoration

A new film will be restored under the “Adopt a Film for Restoration” initiative by the Albanian National Film Archive.

The director of AQSHF, Eljan Tanini, announced that the next project is the film “Shoku ynë Tili”. He thanked a supporter from Kosovo, Baki Wahsh, for helping make the restoration possible.

Tanini said the initiative remains open for Albanian films, documentaries and animations.

“Shoku ynë Tili” is a 1981 Albanian film directed by Fehmi Hoshafi. It was written by Qazim Kashari, Naum Bitri and Halil Kamberi, with music by Tahsin Hoshafi.

The film features actors such as Elida Janushi, Arben Latifi, Lutfi Hoxha, Zyliha Miloti, Vasillaq Vangjeli and Ndrek Shkjezi.

Previously, AQSHF also signed an agreement to restore the film “Mimoza Llastica”.
