Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari attended the international “Europa Wachau” forum in Krems today.
Austrian Interior Minister Gerhard Karner and European Commissioner Magnus Brunner invited Lamallari to the event.
The forum focused on a new European approach to migration management and security challenges linked to illegal movements across the continent.
Lamallari reaffirmed Albania’s role as a reliable partner in European security and solidarity.
He highlighted Albania’s cooperation with European partners on stronger border control, the fight against illegal migration and regional security.
According to Lamallari, Albania continues to contribute to Europe’s security architecture. He said the country remains a serious and responsible ally in addressing crises affecting the continent.
The Europa Wachau forum is considered one of Europe’s leading platforms for political and strategic dialogue.
Political leaders, European officials and decision-makers from across Europe attended the event.
