Antonio Costa to Visit Tirana on 2 June as Part of Western Balkans Tour

President of the European Council António Costa will visit six Western Balkan countries ahead of the EU–Western Balkans Summit.

The diplomatic tour starts on 1 June in Sarajevo.

Costa will meet members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the country’s Council of Ministers.

On 2 June, he will travel to Tirana.

He will meet Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Bajram Begaj.

He will also meet students at the College of Europe campus in Tirana.

The tour continues in Skopje, Pristina, and Belgrade.

Costa will close the visit in Montenegro.

He will co-chair the EU–Western Balkans Summit on 5 June together with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
