TKOBAP Announces Packed June Calendar of Performances in Albania and Abroad

The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania has published its artistic calendar for June, featuring a rich program of concerts, educational activities, international tours and a world ballet premiere.

The institution described the summer season as a period filled with emotions, inspiration and memorable cultural experiences for audiences in Albania and abroad.

Furthermore, the schedule includes symphonic concerts, chamber music events, educational workshops, and international performances by the choir and the Albanian National Folk Ensemble.

In addition, the TKOBAP Choir will participate in the Svigliano Festival abroad on June 5–7, marking one of several international appearances this month. The Folk Ensemble will also perform in Gorizia, Italy, at the Piccolo Opera Festival, showcasing Albanian polyphonic traditions.

Meanwhile, on June 11, the concert “Come Sing With Us” will bring together students from 50 Tirana 9-year schools in a large choral performance aimed at music education and youth participation.

On June 12, the Folk Ensemble will perform in Gjakova together with Kosovo’s Ensemble “Shota,” while a gala concert titled “Sounds of a Summer Night” will take place in Vlora under the direction of Oleg Arapi.

Moreover, June 21 will be marked as International Music Day with various events organized by TKOBAP, while June 25 will feature a baroque music concert titled “Vox Baroque.”

Finally, the month will close with the world premiere of the ballet “Radian,” choreographed by Edi Blloshmi with music by Robert Bisha, scheduled for June 29–30, highlighting one of the most anticipated cultural events of the season.
