Weather – Cloudy skies and rain expected today

TIRANA, June 4 – Albania will be affected by unstable atmospheric conditions on Wednesday, meteorological services said.

Skies will be mostly cloudy from early morning until midday. Meanwhile, conditions will improve gradually in the afternoon with alternating clouds and clearer periods. Later in the day, weather will become mostly clear with only scattered cloud cover.

Rain will affect the country from the early hours of the day until the morning. It will range from low to moderate intensity. In addition, showers and short thunderstorms may occur in the western lowlands, accompanied by lightning activity. Mountain areas may also see brief rain showers during the day. However, rainfall is expected to gradually stop across the country after the afternoon.

Winds will blow from the southeast and southwest at an average speed of 6 m/s. At the same time, sea conditions in the Adriatic and Ionian seas will range between force 2 and 4 on the Beaufort scale.
