The choir of the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet and Popular Ensemble (TKOBAP) represented Albanian culture in Italy. It performed at the 36th edition of the Savigliano Choral Festival, alongside well-known choirs from Rome, Milan, and Turin.
Furthermore, the Albanian choir presented a selection of Albanian musical works. It showcased the richness of national tradition and brought Albanian language and identity to an international audience.
As a result, the performance received an enthusiastic response from the Italian public. The audience welcomed the choir warmly and appreciated its artistic contribution.
In addition, the evening ended with a joint performance of “Va, pensiero.” The participating choirs performed together and created a strong moment of artistic unity.
Meanwhile, the collaboration highlighted cultural exchange between Albania and other European musical traditions. It also strengthened the presence of Albanian choral music on the international stage.
Finally, the TKOBAP choir is set to return to the stage for additional performances tonight.
