June Brings High Tourist Influx to Shkodër

The city of Shkodër experiences a strong influx of foreign tourists during June, becoming one of the most popular destinations in northern Albania.

Tourists walk through the city’s historic center and fill its characteristic streets. They visit the pedestrian area, museums, the castle, and the lakeside promenade as the city comes alive with international visitors.

At the same time, Prime Minister Edi Rama shares images showing busy streets filled with tourists enjoying Shkodër’s hospitality, traditional cuisine, and unique landscapes.

In addition, many visitors use Shkodër as a starting point for exploring nearby natural destinations. They travel onward to Theth, Valbona Valley, and Lake Shkodër, making the city an important hub for northern tourism.

Furthermore, tourists highlight the city’s combination of historical heritage and natural beauty. They also appreciate its calm atmosphere, which makes it increasingly attractive on Albania’s tourism map.

As a result, Shkodër has become one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in Albania in recent years. It strengthens its appeal by combining cultural tourism with nature and adventure experiences.
