Albania Hosts EYCA General Assembly, Focus on Youth Policies

Albania hosted the 42nd EYCA Conference and General Assembly for the first time. The event focused on international youth cooperation, the exchange of ideas, and stronger youth policies.

The conference brought together representatives from different countries to discuss opportunities and challenges facing young people.

Among the participants were Erjona Ismaili and Blendi Gonxhja.

Furthermore, Ismaili highlighted the importance of the event. She stressed that young people are not only the future but also an active force in society today.

According to her, governments must support young people through better opportunities, greater inclusion, and stronger public policies.

Moreover, she described investment in youth as an investment in dignity, development, and a more European future for Albania.

“Young people are not only the future we wait for. They are the energy, ideas, and strength we must support today,” Ismaili said.

In addition, she emphasized that youth participation plays a key role in building a fairer and more inclusive society.

Meanwhile, the event served as an important platform for strengthening international cooperation on youth issues. It also encouraged a more active role for young people in decision-making processes.

As a result, the EYCA General Assembly reinforced the importance of youth engagement and highlighted the need for policies that empower the next generation.
