July brings higher demand at travel agencies in Kukës

TIRANA, June 19 – July has brought increased activity to travel agencies in Kukës as emigrants return for their summer holidays. Agency staff report stronger demand for bookings and travel services from people visiting their families during this period.

Meanwhile, agencies have also recorded growing interest from local residents planning holidays abroad. Travel agency employee Klodiana Visha said emigrants living in countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy and Germany show strong interest in spending their July and August holidays in Albania.

In addition, Turkey remains one of the most popular destinations for local travellers. Visha noted that many residents choose Istanbul, Bodrum, Antalya and other coastal areas for their summer vacations, with bookings extending from late July through the end of August.

As a result, travel agencies consider the summer season the busiest period of the year. The season drives both the return of emigrants to their hometowns and outbound holiday travel by Albanian citizens.
