Prime Minister Edi Rama announced the opening of a new guesthouse called “Rrënjët” in the center of Rilindja Square in Ersekë. The project adds new accommodation capacity to the Kolonjë region. It also strengthens the local tourism offer.
Moreover, Rama shared images of the guesthouse on social media. He described the investment as part of the ongoing transformation of the city and its return to the tourism map.
In addition, the building has a 200-year history. It previously served as a sub-prefecture and a bank. Workers restored the structure carefully and preserved its historical architecture. At the same time, they added modern facilities for guests.
Furthermore, “Rrënjët” connects history with comfort. It offers authentic Kolonjë cuisine while providing modern accommodation services.
As a result, the guesthouse creates a new tourism experience in Ersekë. It also helps promote the cultural and historical identity of the region.
