White Villages of the Blue Riviera: From Dhërmi to Vuno

The journey starts in the old village of Dhërmi along the main road. It leads through one of the most scenic hiking trails of the Albanian Riviera.

First, the village of Dhërmi stands out with its white stone houses and blue sea views. Moreover, its narrow paths and natural spring water create a unique historical landscape. As a result, visitors experience a mix of nature, history, and authenticity.

In addition, the trail connects Dhërmi with the coast through a 1.5 km stone-paved path. It passes old water mills and offers panoramic views of the sea and surrounding hills. Therefore, the walk becomes both cultural and scenic.

Furthermore, the route continues toward the famous Gjipe Beach. The area lies between Dhërmi and Vuno, surrounded by steep cliffs and crystal waters. As a result, it attracts both hikers and beach visitors.

Meanwhile, Gjipe offers camping, swimming, and adventure activities. Tourists explore the canyon, swim in clear waters, or arrive by boat. In addition, the beach combines natural isolation with growing accessibility.

Next, the path leads uphill toward historic landmarks, including the Monastery of Saint Theodore. From there, hikers continue toward the village of Vuno through rocky and scenic trails.

Moreover, Vuno appears as a stone-built amphitheater on the slopes of Mount Çika. It features narrow streets, traditional houses, and rich cultural heritage. Therefore, it preserves the authentic character of the Riviera.

Finally, visitors experience peaceful cafés, friendly locals, and wide sea views at sunset. Overall, the route from Dhërmi to Vuno offers a powerful blend of nature, tradition, and coastal beauty.
