Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama met Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko in Gdańsk, Poland, on Wednesday.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026. Albania’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, also attended the talks.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and support Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts. In addition, they exchanged views on Ukraine’s European future and the importance of continued international assistance.
Meanwhile, Rama participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conference alongside heads of state and government, international financial institutions, business representatives, and civil society organizations from around the world.
The conference aims to mobilize investments and strengthen global support for Ukraine’s long-term recovery and development.
Furthermore, speaking during a plenary session, Rama stressed that Ukraine must secure peace with the same determination it has shown in defending its freedom. Consequently, he highlighted the importance of both reconstruction and lasting stability for the country’s future.
