Gogu: Justice System Is Measured by Law Enforcement and Results for Citizens

Minister of Justice Toni Gogu met today with the Free Legal Aid Service branches, the State Enforcement Service, the Probation Service, and the Center for the Prevention of Crimes by Minors and Youth.

During the meeting, officials prioritized raising citizens’ awareness of their right to free legal aid, improving the execution of court decisions, strengthening reintegration programs for people and minors in conflict with the law, and enhancing cooperation between institutions.

Gogu said that the justice system depends not only on good laws but also on how institutions enforce them and the results they deliver for citizens.

He stressed that a functional justice system is measured by how effectively it applies the law and by the concrete impact it produces in people’s lives. He called on institutions to strengthen coordination, ensure full commitment, and focus on delivering measurable results for citizens.
