Rama: Kanye West Concert Will Turn Tirana into a Global Music Entertainment Hub

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images on social media today showing the construction of a stadium in Kashar for the upcoming concert of Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

According to Rama, organizers built the venue specifically for what he described as the largest concert ever held in Albania. He stated that international visitors have purchased more tickets for the event than they did for the UEFA Europa Conference League final held in Tirana.

Furthermore, Rama said the concert will transform Tirana into a global center of music entertainment on Saturday, July 11.

The event forms part of the Ye Live Tour 2026, with ticket prices starting at €120. Organizers have announced a production featuring large-scale stage design, advanced visual effects, and modern technology.

Moreover, Ye remains one of the most recognized figures in the international music and entertainment industry.

Organizers expect the concert to place Tirana at the center of Europe’s music, entertainment, and cultural scene through a major production featuring a giant stage, immersive technology, and a unique live experience.

Meanwhile, construction continues on Eagle Stadium, the venue expected to host approximately 60,000 spectators from Albania, the region, and around the world.
