Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha met with Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and his delegation to discuss expanding cooperation between Albania and the region.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on recent regional developments and explored new opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including tourism, economic relations and people-to-people exchanges.
Hoxha highlighted the importance of dialogue and practical cooperation with regional partners. Furthermore, he emphasized Albania’s readiness to explore new partnership opportunities with the Kurdistan Region for the benefit of both sides.
The two officials agreed that strengthening economic, tourism and human connections can contribute to greater understanding, prosperity and regional cooperation.
