Education Minister Mirela Kumbaro highlighted the achievements of this year’s teacher qualification process, with more than 4,000 educators across Albania completing professional training programs.
Kumbaro congratulated the teachers who participated in the qualification process, describing their commitment as an important step toward improving teaching quality and strengthening the education system.
According to the minister, 4,106 teachers successfully completed the qualification process this year. Among them, 1,354 earned the “Master Teacher” title, while 1,052 achieved the “Specialist Teacher” category and 1,700 received the “Qualified Teacher” status.
Furthermore, Kumbaro emphasized that teacher qualification represents more than an evaluation process. Instead, it reflects educators’ dedication to continuous professional development and their commitment to providing better learning opportunities for students.
She added that teachers’ ongoing investment in their skills directly contributes to improving the quality of pre-university education.
Finally, Kumbaro praised the cooperation between the Agency for Quality Assurance in Pre-University Education (ASCAP) and the National Agency for Pre-University Education (AKAP), whose coordination helped ensure the successful implementation of the qualification process.
