Justice minister visits Tirana legal aid centre, stresses access to justice

TIRANA, July 13 – Justice Minister Toni Gogu visited the Legal Aid Service Centre in Tirana to observe the daily work of staff who provide legal assistance to citizens.

In a social media post, Gogu praised the staff for their professionalism and dedication. He said they support people when they need justice the most.

The minister noted that every request for legal aid reflects a personal story, a concern or a family seeking a solution. He stressed that every citizen should find an open institution, receive respectful treatment and obtain clear guidance on how to exercise their legal rights.

Meanwhile, Gogu said access to justice starts with accurate information. He added that public institutions must remain close to the people they serve.

The minister stressed that bringing justice closer to citizens remains a key priority.
