PM Rama attends Paris summit on support for Ukraine

TIRANA, July 13 – Prime Minister Edi Rama is travelling to Paris today to attend the Coalition of the Willing summit on Ukraine.

French President Emmanuel Macron invited Rama to the meeting, which will bring together heads of state and government. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will also attend.

The Agency for Media and Information said participants will discuss the coordination of international support for Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Rama’s participation confirms Albania’s continued support for Ukraine. The country maintains its position in defence of international law, Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Albania will also continue coordinating closely with its Euro-Atlantic allies and partners.

On July 14, Rama will attend the official ceremony marking France’s National Day. Macron also invited the Albanian prime minister to this event.
