The Albanian Football Federation held the draw for the 2026-2027 Abissnet Superiore season calendar at the “House of Football” in Tirana.
During the ceremony, club representatives and media members attended as the federation announced the fixtures for the 88th edition of Albania’s top football championship.
The new season will start on August 22 with several exciting matches in the opening round.
The first-week fixtures include:
- Partizani vs Teuta
- Laçi vs Elbasani
- Vllaznia vs Skënderbeu
- Dinamo vs Vora
- Egnatia vs Tirana
The championship will follow a three-phase regular season format. After the regular rounds, teams will enter the play-off and play-out stages, with their points reduced by half.
The top six teams will compete in the play-off stage through 10 home-and-away rounds to decide the champion and the final rankings.
The four lowest-ranked teams will compete in the play-out stage. The team finishing in 10th place will face direct relegation, while the ninth-placed team will play a relegation play-off match against the losing finalist from the First Division promotion play-offs.
