Former Kosova Prime Minister: Albania’s success benefits all Albanians

TIRANA, July 15 – Former Kosova Prime Minister and Honorary President of the Alliance for the Future of Kosova, Ramush Haradinaj, welcomed Albania’s provisional closure of three European Union negotiation chapters, calling it an important achievement in the country’s integration process.

In a social media post, Haradinaj said the milestone shows that European integration is achievable through vision and strong institutional commitment. He added that every success for Albania is good news for all Albanians.

Meanwhile, the former Kosova prime minister said the development should also encourage reflection in Kosova. He argued that while other countries in the region continue to advance towards European integration, Kosova has fallen behind because of what he described as destructive governance and growing isolation from its international partners.

Haradinaj congratulated Albania on the latest step in its accession process. He also expressed hope that Kosova would restore its Euro-Atlantic integration perspective instead of watching neighbouring countries move ahead while it remains stalled.
