World literature exhibition brings global classics to Albania’s National Library

TIRANA, July 16 – Albania’s National Library has opened an exhibition titled “World Literature Championship” at the “Sotir Kolea” center, inviting visitors to explore a different kind of competition during the final days of the World Football Championship.

The exhibition presents some of the greatest authors of world literature and works that have shaped cultural history. It combines the excitement of football with the appreciation of books through a symbolic tournament featuring renowned literary figures.

Meanwhile, visitors can discover works by authors such as William Shakespeare, Victor Hugo, Miguel de Cervantes, Jorge Luis Borges, Lord Byron and Simone de Beauvoir.

The exhibition remains open at the “Sotir Kolea” center of Albania’s National Library until July 20.

The library invites readers and sports enthusiasts to visit the exhibition and explore which author or literary work could deserve the symbolic championship trophy.
