A new space dedicated to art, culture, and community has become part of Tirana’s urban landscape. The Art Park in Kinostudio has transformed the former film studio area into a new meeting point for residents, artists, and visitors.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images on social media showing large numbers of people enjoying a summer evening at the newly opened park.
Designed as an urban cultural park, the space combines green areas with artistic elements, public installations, and venues for cultural activities. In addition, the park includes features that reflect Albania’s cinematic heritage.
Furthermore, the project brings renewed attention to a site that played a significant role in the country’s film and artistic history. At the same time, it presents that legacy in a modern and accessible setting for the public.
The Art Park aims to serve as an active center for exhibitions, artistic performances, film screenings, and community events. As a result, it creates a connection between the history of the former Kinostudio and Tirana’s ongoing urban development.
Moreover, the new park expands public cultural spaces in the capital while offering residents and visitors a place to gather, relax, and engage with art and culture.
Overall, the project blends heritage, creativity, and community life, giving new purpose to one of Tirana’s most historically important cultural areas.
