Chair of SP parliamentary group Balla meets Albanian diaspora representative in Switzerland, highlights role in promoting national identity

Socialist Party parliamentary group leader Taulant Balla hosted today at the Albanian Parliament Altin Marku, a representative of the Albanian diaspora in Switzerland and head of the “Fol Shqip Show” platform, which promotes success stories of Albanians living abroad.

During the meeting, Balla praised the diaspora’s contribution to strengthening ties with Albania and promoting the country’s image internationally.

Balla thanked Marku for highlighting successful Albanian figures through the “Fol Shqip Show” platform, describing it as a valuable initiative for the Albanian community and for preserving national identity.

He also stressed the important role of the diaspora as a bridge between Albania and the world. Through their achievements, professional success, and active engagement, Albanians abroad contribute to a stronger international image of the country. Moreover, diaspora communities continue to support economic, cultural, and social development by sharing knowledge, creating networks, and investing in Albania’s future.
