KOKSH and TİKA Discuss Cooperation to Develop Sports and Infrastructure in Albania

President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), Fidel Ylli, met with TİKA Program Coordinator in Tirana Murat Ölçenoğlu to discuss cooperation opportunities supporting sports development and infrastructure projects in Albania.

The meeting focused on exploring joint initiatives that could contribute to the advancement of Albanian sports.

Ylli presented KOKSH’s recent achievements, strategic projects and vision for the future development of sports in the country.

The discussions highlighted the “Tirana Olympic City” project, described as one of Albania’s most ambitious initiatives to create a modern sports center meeting international standards.

The project aims to transform sports infrastructure, provide better conditions for athletes and support the development of young generations.

TİKA, Turkey’s Cooperation and Coordination Agency, has implemented development projects in more than 170 countries, including areas such as education, culture, healthcare, infrastructure and sports.

Ylli said the meeting represented an important step toward future cooperation and concrete initiatives to strengthen Albanian sports.
