Rama Condemns Berlin Attack: “No Tolerance for Hate, Violence or Extremism”

Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his solidarity with Germany and the German people following the tragic incident at the Pride Parade in Berlin.

In a statement on social media, Rama condemned the attack and said there can be no tolerance for hate, violence or extremism in any form.

He stressed that such acts threaten not only citizens’ safety but also the values that support democratic societies.

“We must stand united against them, with determination and without hesitation,” Rama said.

The Prime Minister also expressed his condolences to the victim’s family and wished a fast recovery to all those injured.

“Albania stands with Germany,” Rama added.

The attack occurred during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride celebrations in Berlin. A van crashed into the crowd, killing one person and injuring at least 16 others, including several people in critical condition.
