The Albanian government approved an amendment to its agreement with Italy on the mutual recognition of driver’s licenses for conversion purposes.
The Council of Ministers adopted Amendment No. 2, which updates the existing cooperation framework between the two countries. The agreement aims to improve procedures for recognizing and converting driving licenses issued in Albania and Italy.
The government approved the decision following a proposal from the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy. Moreover, the amendment revises an earlier agreement previously adopted by the Council of Ministers.
As a result, Albania and Italy will continue to strengthen cooperation in facilitating the recognition and conversion of driver’s licenses for their citizens.
The decision entered into force immediately after its approval.
