TIRANA, July 31 – Authorities continue inspections along coastal areas to ensure the proper use of public spaces and compliance with beach management standards.
Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Blendi Gonxhja said the National Coastline Agency and municipalities are carrying out inspections in Himara to protect public beach areas.
Meanwhile, Gonxhja said a new ecological ramp is improving access to Himara beach for people with disabilities. He added that the initiative aims to make the coastline more inclusive.
The inspections focus on more efficient management of public beaches, free access for visitors and compliance with summer season standards.
The National Coastline Agency will continue monitoring the coastline. The agency will prioritize the protection of public spaces and the creation of better conditions for citizens and tourists visiting Albania’s coast during the summer months.
