The latest edition of the Sunny Hill Festival has kicked off in Bërnicë, Pristina, attracting thousands of music fans from Kosovo and abroad.
The high turnout caused long traffic queues on roads leading to the festival grounds on the opening night.
The highlight of the evening was the performance by global pop superstar Katy Perry, who took to the main stage at around 10:30 p.m., delivering a spectacular show featuring stunning visual effects, choreography, and space-themed costumes.
The American singer appeared dressed as an astronaut, while performers on stage handed her the Kosovo flag, which she proudly waved in front of the audience. The moment was met with loud cheers and quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of the night.
Another emotional moment came when 10-year-old Era fulfilled her dream of singing on stage with Katy Perry during the performance.
Earlier in the evening, Albanian singer Dhurata Dora warmed up the crowd with a performance that was met with enthusiastic applause.
The festival will continue throughout the weekend with performances by internationally acclaimed artists, including Lewis Capaldi and Martin Garrix.
