Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi has been denied conditional release from pre-trial detention in The Hague.
According to Klan Kosova, the request was rejected due to concerns over the risk of flight and the potential for interference with the judicial proceedings.
Thaçi had offered a financial guarantee of €50,000 and pledged to comply with a series of conditions intended to ensure the proper conduct of the legal process.
However, presiding judge Christopher Gosnell ruled that Thaçi’s pre-trial detention should be extended for another two months.
