Dinamo loses 1-0 to Auda, qualification decided in Elbasan

TIRANA, August 5 – Dinamo lost 1-0 to Latvian side Auda in the first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. The narrow defeat keeps the qualification battle open ahead of the return leg.

The match in Latvia remained balanced, while the Albanian team created the clearest scoring opportunities. However, Auda found the decisive goal in the 65th minute through Diedhiou, after an individual effort.

Dinamo faced further difficulties in the final minutes when Përndreca received a red card and left the team with 10 players. Despite the setback, the minimal first-leg result gives the Albanian side hope of overturning the score at home.

Meanwhile, Dinamo and Auda will meet again on August 13 at “Elbasan Arena”. The Albanian team will seek a victory to secure qualification for the next stage of the Conference League.
