PM Rama shares message: Trust, empathy, service, commitment

TIRANA, August 6 – Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a handwritten message on social media with four key words: “trust, empathy, service, commitment”.

Rama shared the message weeks after presenting the political document “Besa” [Good Faith]. He described the platform as a new effort to restore trust between citizens and institutions.

The prime minister said “Besa” should help citizens feel heard, informed and respected when the government takes decisions.

Earlier, Rama explained that he chose the name “Besa” because it best reflects the need to rebuild confidence between the state and citizens.

He said the platform aims to turn criticism into value, anger into change, questions into tests and protests into a measure of democratic maturity.

Rama presented the document during a meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group. The presentation followed weeks of protests outside the Prime Minister’s Office, known as the “flamingo revolution”.
