Customs revenue reaches ALL 23.5 billion in July

TIRANA, August 11 – Customs revenue reached ALL 23.5 billion in July 2026. The figure increased by around ALL 223 million from the same month in 2025.
According to data from the General Directorate of Customs, several major revenue items drove the increase. Value-added tax provided the largest contribution, with an additional ALL 108 million from July last year. The mining royalty also increased by ALL 51 million. Net excise revenue rose by ALL 48 million.

Meanwhile, customs tax revenue increased by ALL 19 million. Together, these items generated around ALL 226 million in additional customs collections. Customs reported a net revenue increase of around ALL 223 million.

The General Directorate of Customs said July results continued the positive trend in customs revenue during 2026. The figures reflect the performance of the main revenue items administered at the border.
