Shkodër Art Gallery to resume rich artistic calendar in September

TIRANA, August 12 – Shkodër Art Gallery will resume an intensive programme of activities in September. The summer season also focused on presenting works from the gallery’s collection. The second half of the year will bring various visual art exhibitions and projects.

Fatmir Juka, head of Shkodër Art Gallery, said the September programme will begin with 2 important events. The first will focus on art education and will feature Albanian film and cinema painter Astrit Tota. Visitors will have the opportunity to see his work more closely. The programme will also explore the relationship between visual art and cinema.

Meanwhile, local artist Xhovana Preçetaj will present a solo exhibition of contemporary painting. Juka said the gallery will continue its programme from September through December. The activities will give space to artistic creativity and maintain public interest in visual arts.
