TIRANA, August 13 – The Agritourism AL application has become an information platform for agritourism and rural tourism destinations in Albania. It helps tourists and visitors plan trips and discover offers linked to nature, gastronomy and Albanian traditions.
Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Andis Salla said users can download the application on their phones or access it online. The platform lists agritourism farms, wineries, campsites, cultural tours and rural tourism destinations across the country.
Meanwhile, agritourism destinations offer different experiences depending on their location, traditional cuisine and authentic architecture. Each destination has distinctive characteristics that reflect its local identity.
The platform also provides information about agritourism tours and activities. Operators can use it to promote their businesses. Visitors can explore tourist farms, local products, traditional dishes and rural experiences.
According to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development statistics, the platform had registered more than 200 tourist farms and routes linked to mountain shepherd settlements, wine, olives, citrus fruits, mussels and fish by the end of 2025.
Grant support and tax incentives have helped agritourism develop in rural areas. The sector is contributing to local economies and supporting wider economic development.
