TIRANA, August 14 – Albania has welcomed the signing of the Social Security Agreement between the two countries by Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs said the agreement marks an important step for Albanian citizens. It allows them to have their employment periods recognized and their social security contributions transferred in Poland.
Meanwhile, the agreement joins similar arrangements Albania has signed with Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hungary, Canada and other countries.
According to the ministry, the agreement provides more rights and opportunities for Albanian citizens living abroad.
