TIRANA, August 18 – Italian tourists continue to arrive at the Port of Vlora in large numbers in late August. Many others are returning home after spending their holidays on Albania’s beaches and in its cities.
Albanians living abroad are also arriving for their holidays. As a result, Vlora continues to draw a large number of visitors during the summer season.
Meanwhile, passenger and vehicle traffic at the Port of Vlora remains high. Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage on social media today and described the situation as an “Italian influx at the Port of Vlora”.
Throughout August, the port has recorded heavy passenger and vehicle traffic. To manage the increased flow, port authorities have taken measures to ensure safety and provide quality services to travellers.
