Korçë Mayor Sotiraq Filo met with Greek Ambassador to Albania Lambrini Komini to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation between Korçë and Greece.
The two sides focused on tourism, the economy, culture, education and environmental cooperation. Filo said the meeting aimed to turn the close historical, cultural and people-to-people ties between Korçë and Greece into concrete projects and new initiatives.
The two sides also explored opportunities to create new partnerships that could benefit local communities and support the region’s sustainable development.
Tourism and economic cooperation remain key areas as Korçë seeks to expand its regional and international partnerships.
