Albania has a diverse fruit production map, with different regions specializing in different crops.
Korçë remains one of the country’s leading apple-producing areas. The municipality produced around 17,700 tonnes of apples in 2025. Maliq followed with about 17,200 tonnes, while Devoll produced nearly 13,000 tonnes.
Elbasan leads the country in both plum and cherry production. It produced 2,513 tonnes of plums and 2,868 tonnes of cherries in 2025. Berat stands out for its fig production. The municipality produced 5,438 tonnes of figs, far ahead of Shkodër and Elbasan.
Lushnjë leads in peaches and nectarines, with 4,725 tonnes produced in 2025. Peqin, Fier and Elbasan followed.
The figures highlight Albania’s diverse agricultural potential. From Korçë’s apple orchards to Berat’s fig groves and the fertile fields of Myzeqe, each region has developed its own agricultural profile.
This diversity supports the domestic market while creating opportunities for food processing and exports.
