Conference League: Dinamo City draw 1-1 with Pafos, qualification remains open

TIRANA, August 21 – Dinamo City drew 1-1 with Pafos at Elbasan Arena in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League play-off. The result leaves the tie open ahead of the return match.

Neither side scored in the first half. Pafos missed a penalty in the 36th minute before Fadairo gave Dinamo City the lead in the 79th minute.

However, the advantage lasted only a few minutes. Pafos won a penalty and Lele converted from the spot in the 82nd minute to level the score.

Dinamo City pushed for a late winner but could not regain the lead. The Albanian side will now travel for the second leg on August 27 at 19:00, with a place in the league phase at stake.
