Albanian weightlifter Antonino Mullisi has won the European Youth Championship title in 2026 and set two European records at the competition in Kosovo.
Mullisi dominated the snatch with a 135-kilogram lift, setting a new European record. He then lifted 156 kilograms in the clean and jerk, finishing with 291 kilograms in the total.
His performance earned him three European medals and marked one of the strongest results for Albanian weightlifting at the championship.
Mullisi achieved the result under national team coaches Artur Lagja and Florenc Çela. His success highlights the growing potential of Albania’s young weightlifting talent on the European stage.
