TIRANA, August 29 – The Albanian Night Cultural Centre in central Tirana has become a popular destination for tourists interested in Albanian traditions and cultural heritage. Visitors can experience artistic performances, music and traditional elements during evening events at the centre.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage from the events on social media. Tourists dressed in traditional Albanian clothing have praised the atmosphere, performances and overall experience.
The centre covers more than 2,500 square metres and brings together elements of cultural heritage from Albanian-speaking regions in one space. It also gives Albanian artists and artisans an opportunity to present their work, traditions and creativity to local and foreign visitors.
Meanwhile, Albanian Night receives support from the Albanian government through the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Start-Up Albania. The European Union Delegation also supports the centre through the EU4Innovation project, implemented by GIZ.
Through music, traditional dances, clothing and handicrafts, the centre aims to give tourists direct exposure to Albanian culture and traditions.
