TIRANA, September 1 – Albanian referee Emanuela Rusta will officiate another major European fixture. She will referee the second leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League between Paris Saint-Germain and Frankfurt.
The match will take place on September 2 at 18:30 at the PSG Campus stadium in Poissy.
Rusta will work alongside 2 other Albanian officials. Jena Mala will serve as one of the assistant referees, while Eglantina Pjetrushaj will act as the fourth official. England’s Nicoleta Bria will serve as the other assistant referee.
The appointment represents another recognition of Albanian refereeing at the international level.
