TIRANA, September 3 – EU ambassador in Albania Sofia Moreira de Sousa held her first meeting with ambassadors of EU member states in Albania under the joint “Team Europe” approach.
The EU Delegation said Moreira de Sousa presented her vision for supporting Albania’s reforms during the crucial stage of accession negotiations. Discussions also covered upcoming challenges, particularly the implementation of reforms and consolidation of the achievements of the 2016 justice reform.
Meanwhile, Moreira de Sousa reaffirmed her commitment to the “Team Europe” approach. She stressed the importance of close cooperation between the EU and its member states to support Albania effectively on its path towards European Union membership.
