Dinamo complete comeback as Egnatia maintain perfect start

TIRANA, September 7 – Dinamo City closed the third round of the 2026-2027 Abissnet Superiore season with a 2-1 comeback win over AF Elbasani at Elbasan Arena. The victory was Dinamo’s second in a row and lifted Ilir Daja’s side to six points.

Elbasani took the lead in the 25th minute through Ardit Nikaj, who chipped goalkeeper Aldo Teqja after receiving a long ball. Dinamo responded 12 minutes later. Hekuran Berisha scored from a corner to make it 1-1 at halftime.

Dinamo took greater control after the break and completed the comeback in the 65th minute. Hoxhallari headed the ball after another corner, and Lorenco Vila turned it into the net for 2-1. Dinamo created further chances late in the match but could not add another goal. Elbasani remain without a win after three rounds and have two points.

At the top, defending champions Egnatia remain perfect after beating Skënderbeu 2-1. The Rrogozhina side have nine points from three games, with eight goals scored and two conceded. Teuta follow with seven points after a 3-1 win at Laçi.

Meanwhile, Partizani claimed their first win by beating Vllaznia 3-2 in Shkodër. Tirana also earned their first victory, defeating Vora 4-0. Skënderbeu have one point, while Elbasani and Vllaznia have two each.
