Kosovo recorded a significant increase in hotel visitors in July 2026, according to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS).
Hotels welcomed 99,053 visitors during the month. Domestic visitors accounted for 32,098, while foreign visitors reached 66,954.
Compared with July 2025, when hotels recorded 77,481 visitors, the total number increased by 27.8%, KAS reported.
Meanwhile, visitors spent a total of 217,798 nights in hotels. Foreign visitors accounted for 149,509 overnight stays, or 68.6% of the total. Domestic visitors recorded 68,289 overnight stays, representing 31.3%.
The number of foreign visitors also increased significantly. In July 2026, Kosovo recorded 31.7% more foreign visitors than in the same month of 2025.
Overall, 66,954 foreign visitors stayed in Kosovo’s hotels during July. The largest groups came from Albania, Germany, Switzerland and Türkiye, among other countries.
The latest figures highlight the continued growth of Kosovo’s tourism sector and the rising number of international visitors choosing the country as a travel destination.
