Peleshi: Parliamentary Cooperation with Austria Will Continue to Grow

Speaker of the Albanian Parliament Niko Peleshi met with Michael Hammer, chairman of the Austrian National Council’s Friendship Group with Albania, and its delegation.

Peleshi highlighted the long-standing friendship between Albania and Austria. He said the two countries have strengthened their ties over the years through political cooperation and exchanges in various fields.

“Albania and Austria share a long-standing friendship, strengthened over the years through political cooperation and exchanges in many areas,” Peleshi said.

He also expressed gratitude for Austria’s continued support for Albania’s European path. Peleshi said parliamentary cooperation between the Albanian Parliament and the Austrian National Council will continue to grow.

He also highlighted the joint “Democracy Workshop” project. According to Peleshi, the initiative offers a strong example of cooperation between the two institutions. Furthermore, he said the project contributes to civic and democratic education among the younger generation.
