Euronews: Albania among tourism destinations in trend for 2027

Euronews reports that Albania could rank among the most sought-after tourism destinations in 2027. The report highlights its beaches and competitive prices as key attractions for tourists.

Advantage Travel Partnership, a UK-based organisation that brings together independent travel businesses, ranks Albania among the destinations to visit in 2027. It highlights the country’s beaches and price-to-quality ratio. The report also says travel trends increasingly favour experiences and destination exploration.

Thomas Cook has previously identified Albania as a growing destination. Its tourism offer includes Adriatic and Ionian beaches, historic cities, mountain landscapes and cultural experiences. Tirana has also ranked among European destinations with the best price-to-quality ratios. The Irish Sun puts the average daily cost at about €59 for accommodation, food, transport and activities.

Meanwhile, growing interest has also boosted bookings. Thomas Cook data reported by The Sun show a 293% increase in bookings by UK nationals for Albania compared with a year earlier. Euronews also highlights Albania’s cultural and natural attractions, including Berat, Gjirokastër, Butrint, the Albanian Alps, Tirana, Durrës, Ksamil and the Albanian Riviera.
