Jaupaj: Saudi Investors Show Interest in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Tourism

Albania aims to attract new investments in the green economy, renewable energy, waste and water management, and sustainable tourism.

Minister of Environment Sofjan Jaupaj met today with Prince Naif bin Abdullah bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and a delegation of investors from Saudi Arabia and partner countries.

The meeting focused on Albania’s potential to develop sustainable projects. The discussions covered clean energy, waste and water management, sustainable tourism and the development of areas with high natural value.

Jaupaj stressed the need to turn international investors’ interest into concrete projects. He said these investments can bring capital, technology and expertise while protecting the environment and natural resources.

“Albania is building a model where economic growth and environmental protection go hand in hand,” Jaupaj said.

Meanwhile, Jaupaj described the meeting as an important step toward stronger cooperation between Albanian institutions and the international private sector.

He also highlighted the potential for new investments in sectors that can support Albania’s sustainable development.
